Free initial security assessment
A clear, honest picture of where your business stands on security and what to fix first, in plain English. Free, with no obligation.
Not sure how exposed your business is? Let’s find out together, at no cost.
Most small and mid-size businesses in Toronto have nobody whose job is security, and that is exactly who criminals go after. Our free initial security assessment gives you a clear, honest picture of where you stand and what to fix first, in plain English.
What we look at
- Accounts and access: multi-factor authentication, admin accounts, shared logins, and how access is removed when people leave.
- Email: protection against spoofing and phishing (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and how payment requests are checked.
- Devices and updates: whether computers and phones are updated, protected and encrypted.
- Backups: what is backed up, where, and whether a restore has been tested.
- Network and remote access: office Wi-Fi, guest access, and how people connect from home.
- Your public footprint: what anyone on the internet can see about your domain and website security, checked from the outside only.
- Readiness: who you would call, and what you would do, if something went wrong.
How it works
We work from a conversation with you and from information that is already public. We don’t need your passwords, we don’t install anything, and we never test or scan your systems without your written permission.
What you get
- A short written summary of what is working well and where the risks are.
- Your top priorities, ranked: what to fix first, and why.
- Quick wins you can do yourself, often at no cost.
- Honest advice on whether you need outside help at all. If you do, we explain your options. If you don’t, we tell you so.
Free, with no obligation
The initial assessment is free. You are under no obligation to buy anything afterwards, and there is no sales pressure. What you learn is yours to use however you like, with us or without us.
